After the Plunge is rooted in the moments after entering cold water: the body adjusts, the breath catches, and then, gradually, movement begins to change the experience. With each movement comes a little more space, a little more lightness.
A soft turquoise-blue ground spreads across the canvas, with lighter passages emerging beneath a restrained rhythm of navy, teal blue and light cream marks.
